REPORTING LIVE FROM AFGE NSPS TASK FORCE HEADQUARTERS, 1475 MASSACHUSETTS AVE., NW, WASHINGTON, DC 20001

AFGE the largest federal employees union is taking the fight for workplace fairness to Members of Congress. It's time to remove the grins from the faces of those who want to eliminate workers rights, fairness and dignity from DOD WORKERS.

OPERATION FAIRNESS is now underway and AFGE locals should initiate massive grassroots mobilization efforts to contact members of Congress about their concerns with the National Security Personnel System (NSPS).

Detailed instructions have been sent to each local outlining levels of activity that are imperative to our success.

So far in the first 24 hours of notification of locals about OPERATION FAIRNESS, over 30 locals have committed to conducting events.

VOLUNTEERS are needed to assist with OPERATION FAIRNESS. Activists who are capable of addressing groups of employees, conduct visits to Members of Congress, and assist with various mobilization events should report their availability by emailing Mark Gibson at gibsom@afge.org.

DEFCON VOLUNTEERS must be willing to use leave to participate in these activities. If you have some leave to donate, and want to help ensure that NSPS produces a fair and reasoned system for DOD workers, and are willing to travel (at DEFCON expense), we need your help.

We urge you to help STOP the PATRONAGE FOR PAY, COLLECTIVE BEGGING, and MANAGEMENT DIRECTED APPEALS systems from becoming a reality.

In order for OPERATION FAIRNESS to be successful, we need your help.
