SUBPART C 9901.341-342: This section is ambiguous. It needs to be better defined before its implementation is considered. Pay for Performance sounds nice in theory, but if the system is not properly funded and administered it will lead to morale problems. There will be winners and losers. The implementation of this system appears to be very subjective. There is no guarantee that individual pay raises will be based on merit or that they will be equitably distributed among the top performers. The system creates undue competition between co-workers that will destroy the cohesiveness of the labor team. It also promotes an atmosphere of favoritism, office politics, and "apple polishing".
