So what! I have worked for the government for 25 years and have 9 more before I retire. The only thing they have given to me is pay for my education. The 'union' has done NOTHING for me when I asked time and again for assistance to prevent injustice within my organzation. No one has ever cared about equal pay for equal work, no one cares that you may have 25 years of experience with an impecable career but you don't have a 'degree' yet so you are nothing. I have been topped out for over 3 years so what would withholding a grade increase do to me, nothing. The union does nothing and only cares about getting a buck and this is just another way of trying to get those of us desgruntled employees to buy into it. I have given up, there will be no jobs for hard dedicated workers like me, so I am stuck working for an idiot who doesn't remember moment to moment what he has said or done and I work for an organization which brushes every discretion, theft and inappropriateness under the table and the 'union' allows it because, gee they don't want to get involved.
