Comments:
I do not like the idea of taking away our step increases. I do not like the idea of making it easier to fire civilians. Additionally, I do not care for the deployment issue. I have been employed with the Federal Government for 8 years. The idea of deploying civilians is not fair and it infringes upon our Freedom as Americans. How can you make civilians leave their families and their lives in America to be deployed? If my boss came up to me and told me that I was going to be deployed to Irag or Afghanistan I would more than likely quit my Federal job. This really bothers me because I have been so happy as a government employee for so long. I am a young person and I would not like to take a chance on risking my life to go to Iraq or Afghanistan. We are not in the Army as civilians.
