March 1, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). The proposed regulations, known as the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), were printed in the Federal Register on February 14, 2005. This message will be sent to both DoD and my representatives in Congress. I have been a federal worker for 17 years.I have traveled the world supporting the warfighter.The new personnel system will take away all that i have worked for. Senority will be end.Wage increases will be decreased.I truly don't feel like my efforts are appricated.The current administration views us as a burden.I feel like the old saying go's(a red headed step child).Don't use National Security as a shield to strip away all are rights that we have worked for so very hard.They want to take away are rights and turn it into an other WAL-Mart.Like i said 17 years all i'm hoping for is just to get 20.Before the walls fall in.
