February 28, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: Congressional analogy for the NSPS. Here is what the rules might be like under NSPS if it applied to Congress: You run for office in Washington and win. The president decides Congress can be more effective in Kuwait. You either move or get fired. You lose all retirement benefits because you did not comply. You object to this and it is eventually elevated to the president for his decision. The Government, at all levels, should be governed by a system of checks and balances. Please do not allow all control to fall into the hands of a few. Sincerely,
