February 26, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: They call this plan the "National Security Personnel System"...WHAT A FARCE. We might as well go look for more Weapons of Mass Destruction. This plan will do nothing to enhance national security and will in fact undermine it. When federal employees discover just how badly they've been had and how this fiasco of a plan adversely affects not only their working conditions, pay and promotion potential, but also, in the long run, their retirement and their families future, morale within the Federal Government will plummet. Talk to any Department of Homeland Security employee and see how their morale is holding up. How will low moral in DOD and for that matter throughout the federal service enhance national security????? Sincerely,
