February 23, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I am currently a Department of Defense Engineer and a government whistleblower. The new NSPS will be the end of government whistleblowers and the beginning of larger and deeper cover-ups within the Department of Defense. Under the new system, I can say that whistleblowers will be an extinct breed. People will be afraid for their jobs and afraid of reprisal actions. The NSPS will give supervisors entirely too much control and autonomy to control employees at their whim. Remember, Darleen Druyun was supervisor at one time. Who would go against Ms. Druyun (supervisor in general) that had complete control over your life. I have experienced the "Walk out the gate by the armed guards" and I can tell you first hand it sent a message that DoD people had better keep their mouth shut...or else. The message was clear. Have faith from someone who has went against the system and experienced it's wrath. Fortunately I had some laws to back me up and fall back on. If the NSPS system is implemented within DoD it will devistate ethics and allow the breeding of the most perfect crime scene the world has ever experienced. Sincerely,
