TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN: I am a Federal employee of 32 years and am very concerned about the proposed regulations about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense. What a way to treat employees who help defend our Country! All fellow Federal employees I have encountered in my 32 years of service are extremely hard working and dedicated to performing their job duties to the best of their ability. This is a slap in their face and to ALL FEDERAL EMPLOYEES. The rules would create a system in which management could be influenced by favoritism, rather than serving the civil concerns of the American people. I urge you to protect Federal employees. This could only be the beginning of the end for all of us and would erode the quality of our job ranks. People will no longer look with pride at their job positions, but only strive to "get bonuses"..... We need work rules that presrve fairness, serve all Americans and respect the rights of Defense Department employees. I would rethink my continued employment if this happens in my agency.
