March 14, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: My name ist and I have been a Tobyhanna Army Depot federal DOD employee for the past 30 years. I am also a veteran of Vietnam. I am very concerned with the uncertainties of NSPS for myself and all of my co-workers. I am worried about the stability of my wages. Under the current system, I know that I will receive a fair pay and time-in-grade step increases. If my supervisor were to determine my pay, there is a chance I might some day work under someone who dislikes me, and thus denies me of a deserved increase. I think I speak on behalf of my co-workers as well. I dislike the fact that my Union's power might be weakened also. Right now, I know I can count on the Union to represent me if my supervisor treats me unfairly. I also know that behind the scenes, my Union fights to keep the workplace safe and fair. Thank you,
