March 11, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). The proposed regulations, known as the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), were printed in the Federal Register on February 14, 2005. This message will be sent to both DoD and my representatives in Congress. I have only work for the VA for 8 months I am a good worker and try to do the best I can. I feel that people like me would probly do fine with the nsps system. However why change a system that has been in place for a long time? Workers do not like change. I am happy with the current system of pay scales. I get along fine with my managers and supervisers. But there are people that do not get along with their supervisers or managers, with the new system they would certainly be given less oprotunity to move up in pay. I urge anyone reading this letter to not support nsps. Sincerely,
