DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I am writing to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). I believe they are a total step backward and it is time for decision-makers to wake up and realize what is happening. We need work rules that preserve fairness, serve the American people, and respect the rights of Defense Department workers. The new rules do not even come close to these ideals. I work for the VA and know that we will be next in line at some point to be subjected to the same changes. From my experience, unless safeguards are in place, the needs of the average workers come absolutely LAST. One only has to look at our list of monetary awards to see who gets them and how often. The rules that exist now were put in place for a good reason. The need for them is not obsolete. Thank you for your attention. Sincerely,
