March 10, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns over the new NSPS system affecting all of civil service empoyees. I am a retired Navy veteran. I did my time serving my country and protected her during the Gulf war. Now that I am home with my family the government is turning on me by essentially reenlisting me in the military. My pay is fair with good annual increases and it should stay that way. I work hard and earn all my salary and should not be pressured into competitive production with my coworker to recieve a raise and care for my family. Mr, Rumsfield is acting more like a communist leader than a democratic one our country calls for. Pleae revisit this issue and force DOD to implement it the right way as they should and not violate my veterans rights. Sincerely,
