March 10, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). Don't try to fix something that isn't broken. The current attempt to fix the method of paying Federal Civil Servants is the silliest I have ever heard. Eliminating cost of living raises shouldn't even be considered. Putting employees at the mercy of supervisors for merit raises would bring office politice into play. The current system was put into place to do away with that, don't touch that! Sincerely,
