March 14, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: The whole system of NSPS should be rethought. There is already favortism in the work force, NSPS would only make it worse. Promotion are pre-selected and ways found around it, to make it look legal and above board, NSPS would again make this situation worse. Ratings would be based on if your Supervisor likes you, if not you can forget a good rating regardless of the good work provided. I don't see how the government can tell me a civilian that I have to deploy anywhere, that's why we have men and women in the Armed Forces. If our representavtives would like to judge our pay on our performance maybe they should have the same rules. How many do you think would maintain a high standard of living. You as our respresentative should be fighting to help Federal employees, we do serve the women and men of this country who put their lives on the line, we deserve better treatment then you are willling to give us. If you change the rules for us, I believe you should change the rules for you and be paid according to your performance, bad votes and not caring about thoes you represent would mean lower pay. Maybe you should walk a mile in our shoes before you starting passing laws that don't effect you and your family. Sincerely,
