March 13, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I am writing to express my concerns about the new NSPS, National Security Personnel System. I am sending my opinion to you and other congressional representatives, the National Union and the DOD. I have worked for the Civil Service for 18 years. I started working for the Federal Government at the age of 21 years old; I have lots of time invested. I am very upset by the proposals being addressed and force upon me in this NSPS change. It is unfair how little information we have been given on this change. It had to be up to the National Union to give us the insight. From what I have read and research about this NSPS we don’t stand a chance. As for the Federal regulation that was release on February 14, 2005 it’s very confusing. All the any years that I have in put are wasted because of this new proposal being implement. I am very afraid that I will wake up one-day go work and be handed a pink. In this new proposal you are asking me to change my way of living, take a cut pay, and fight to keep my job. I can go on for hours about this NSPS proposal. I am just urging you to get DOD to rethink this proposal. Give us a chance to express our opinion in an open forum. Sincerely,
