DOCKET #NSPS-2005-001 RIN #3206-AK76 I do not want to lose my seniority rights. Those of us who have been employed with the government for a number of years are having the rug pulled out from under us when it comes to seniority. I do not want to have my step increases abolished. I am not sure that everyone will get a "fair shake" on the appraisals that will determine my pay increases. I do not think that the supervisors have time to communicate as much as they will need to under NSPS. As it stands right now many of the supervisors are over- burdened with work and don't have enough time to deal with important issues. We continue to lose workyears which increases everyone's workload. I do not want to lose Cost of Living Increases. Since I don't know what the Mandatory Removal Offenses are, I am against Mandatory Removal Offenses that cannot be reviewed. I think that NSPS could be detrimental to employee moral, which could affect production. I do not want to lose my right to representation (for my defense). I can't comment on many aspects of NSPS, since we don't have answers to many important questions. I find it hard to believe that the NSPS program can be completely written, and training can be provided for everyone before July 2005. Would it be possible to "grandfather-in" some of the issues (such as seniority rights) so that new employees would fall under NSPS and current employees would have the rights they were hired with?
