March 15, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: Under NSPS all civil service employees will be placed in a specific pay band. And if I understand the documentation correctly all current employees' pay will be adjusted so that we don't lose any pay and that adjustment can put you anywhere from the bottom or the top of the specific band you are placed in. Now my question is how will that placement and pay adjustment affect employees that are early in their career? Will we automatically be placed in the lower pay bands and will we be stuck in those lower bands for the remainder of our career? Sincerely,
