March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I?m appalled about the proposed changes by DOD. Majority of us are hard working employees and this new system is like a slap in the face for a job well done (RIF). This new system will change the way we are paid, evaluated, promoted, fired, scheduled, and treated. Some managers WILL BE influenced by favoritism rather than serving the civil concerns of their employees. Who is going to ensure that the managers are going to be fair if the employees can not appeal their decision? I urge you to force DoD to rethink this proposal. We need work rules that preserve fairness, serve the American people, and respect the rights of Defense Department workers. Sincerely,
