March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: We choose to serve our country and this is how we are repaid? You strip us of our job security and financial security? You impose a system, which empowers firing employees before they can retire and receive retirement benefits? You pit us against each other and create a hostile work environment? You throw our seniority out the window? And you hand the supervisors Stalinesk totalitarian authority to lord over us? What's next? Quotas on performance evaluations and pay raises to further grind us into the pavement? This is how you show your respect and gratitude for our service? By treating us like drones and second-class citizens? Forcing us to live in fear and uncertainty? Thanks for nothing. This system was born corrupt and can only get worse. I believe morale, productivity, and reliability will suffer. A reduction in retention and an overall loss of experience is inevitable with NSPS. The true losers here will ultimately be you. Sincerely,
