March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). The proposed regulations, known as the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), were printed in the Federal Register on February 14, 2005. This message will be sent to both DoD and my representatives in Congress. Where are the pay band charts? Seems like alot of info is missing. How can we comment when we don't have all the facts? I would like to see some examples of pay band charts, and just HOW this whole system will work. How will people be promoted? Will we have classifications since the GS is going away? Too many unknowns -- Sincerely,
