March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: Under the current system, Teamwork occurs on a regular basis because every worker has pride to be part of the team. Accomplishments occurs on a regular basis. There are occasionally Bonuses handed out to the team as a whole and everyone wants the team to be successful. Under the new rules of NSPS, only a very small percentage will recieve raises or bonuses. This will cause a lot of animosity among the workers. There will be no more Team work as everyone will be looking out for themselves and not helping others to learn the system. When a person becomes the focal point of receiving all the raises and bonuses. That person will not share their expertise and then all of a sudden they retire. Then there is this Vacum of knowledge that was not passed on. There is no incentive to share knowledge when it may enable others to be on the same playing field as themselves. Sincerely,
