March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). The proposed regulations, known as the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), were printed in the Federal Register on February 14, 2005. The NSPS will give an upperhand to those supervisors who applies favoritism, and the power they will have could easily be used against a person, based on personality conflict or private beliefs. What ARE THE BAD THINGS ABOUT OUR CURRENT SYSTEM NOW? This current system has made America great and safe from foreign nations or threat because of what they have been doing for years under the current rules. If there is NOTHING WRONG, DON'T FIX IT. Sincerely,
