March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: Response to Message Titled "ATTENTION DOD EMPLOYEES, FAMILIES & FRIENDS"* Hooray for NSPS! At last a system is coming on line that will enable me to compete directly with my "peers". Measurable performance and knowledge have taken a back seat to Preferences, Leadership Programs and Quotas. The stopper list may have to stand down. Why did'nt the union make all the imagined negatives known prior to NSPS or head it off entirely at the pass? I say the Union is surfing the NSPS wave, and will continue to be as effective as in the past, which is to say not very. Maybee we can fire or eliminate some non English speaking Managers while we NSPS fans thrive in the new environment. Anyone hurt by NSPS is not pulling thier weight anyway. Im more afraid of the union than NSPS. *This message contains spelling errors and is not gramatically correct. It's a poor reflection on the unions ability to reassure Federal Employees Sincerely,
