March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I have no desire to be reassigned to a different geographical location. I live here and work here because hen I retired from active duty I had no interest left in globe hopping. If my job leaves here, I will not and then we all lose. Read: Lose/Lose. Pay banding by nepotism is an idea that only happen in DoD. Perhaps if a board met, instead of the decision being made by one immediate supervisor, but still this can only breed cronieism and an ass kissing band of myrmindoms will not ever do the best for the Department of Navy; they will learn to do what is best for them. Antother: Lose/Lose. We already suffer being told we are un-patriotic for wanting to be paid overtime for hours worked over 80 in a pay period. I am routinely forced to take comp time because Overtime is not authorized. With 200+ hours of comp time on the books and 155 hours of use-or-lose leave AND running 3 bodies short: I haven't had a vacation in two years. The op-tempo increased and the number of bodies went down AND NO OT!!! This just looks more reason to look for a private sector job. Sincerely, Customer Survey - Help us to help you.
