March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I am already in a place with single point power abuse. In the many years that I have worked in my present office, everyone, that I work for or with think highly of me, and have valued my contributions greatly, but my competency supervisor has never put me up for promotion, nor have I ever had a review. No one in the office understands why this is so, even though this grade level is what the position calls, and it is standard practice to be promoted after the first year from coming in. The only thing that can be surmised it that there are personal reasons. I can not imagine an atmosphere where the system would legitimize such an abuse on a wide scale. Sincerely,
