March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I,m writing about my concerns over the NSPS. The system is a step backwards. It removes the basic work protections that employees have had for 40+ years. I'm a federal employee with 30 years of service. I'm very concerned with the "flexability" that the new system gives to managers. Striping the employees of thier ability to challange bad managment decisions, will only serve to undermine the work forces' ability to perform thier jobs with out fear of being bullied by an overbearing boss. I'm very disappointed in the new system, my political leaders.and the system in general. I will continue to vote for people that share my views and hopfully change the direction the county is headed. If the general population continues to leave the running of the country in the hands of bussiness men (with thier only actions based on political cronisim)our children will not have very much to be proud of in the future.
