March 16, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: My concern is that I'm getting a target promotion this September and with this new system, I've heard that I might not receive it at all. Also, I'm a military spouse and what if we get an assignment to a base that does not have the NSPS, would that mean I would have to go back to my previous GS pay grade? At the same time, let say I receive some pay increase under the NSPS and my family PCS, would I retain the increase pay I just received? Sincerely,
