March 15, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I am a wife of a DOD employee. He has loved his job for some time now. But recently he has expressed concern over the changes that have been proposed. The changes that NSPS proposes would undermine the workers that have been loyal and proud to be called a DOD employee. It has already caused tension on the job locations between what used to be a close knit community of workers. If they were to strip away the rights of the many loyal workers and give the majority of power to the managers what kind of message are they sending to the world?Are the capitalist ways willing to let the world believe that they would sacrifice the teamwork and fairness that Americans built this great land on? Is this the way we provide leadership for other countries to follow if the choose to do so? If it is money they say they are trying to save, under the NSPS it would just mean a transference of money and power to the higher ups, so where is the savings and fairness in that? This is an idea that splits our nation even farther apart and you know what is said about a nation devided, it will fall. Let us not let that happen. This is still a free country and we should all voice the concerns over this. Sincerely,
