March 15, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I am very concerned about this proposal. I work very hard to keep my unit opperational and ready to deploy to defend this great country. If a supervisor doesn't like your haircut, or the way you dress, under the NSPS, you can be fired - even though you do an outstanding job in your duties. It's not right and taking away the "protection" employees have now will hurt our Government - NOT improve it. Bonuses and raises help ensure the job gets done. Taking this away will impact the missions we work daily...fear of being fired, losing income etc. We need to take care of our people so we can stay strong and keep the most qualified personnel in these very critical jobs. Sincerely,
