March 15, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). I urge you to force DoD to rethink this proposal. We need work rules that preserve fairness, serve the American people, and respect the rights of Defense Department workers. The present system has been in existance for 50 years and the problems with it are known, so correct the problems don't replace it with a system with little or no history. The changes as proposed opens the door for favertism, abuse, desention, and chos. President Theordore Roosevelt could see it, and tried to fix it, so why can't you try? They say it runs down hill but it never smelt this bad before. Sincerely,
