March 15, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: As a DoD employee of over 20 years, I am outraged that the present Administration or any Administration would willfully violate our Democratic Rights by proposing these outrageous changes in the DoD Regulations known as the National Security Personnel System (NSPS). Our present Administration can fight for Democracy abroad and in Iraq, but they can not seem to fight for and protect DoD employees' Democratic Rights at home. The proposed National Security Personnel System (NSPS) would eliminate Federal Workers Democratic Rights for a fair pay schedule and for a fair collective bargaining agreement. This is a pure case of the present Administration's abuse of power and control in total disregard of Federal Workers hard fought Democratic Rights over the years. The statement holds true-Power Corrupts...and Absolute Power...Corrupts Absolutely. This country was founded on Democracy and implemented with checks and balances of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial Branches of the Government to protect the Democracy of the people and to protect the people from the abuses of power of the Government. To intiate these proposed changes to the Federal Workers' Regulations would abuse the power of this Administration and violate every Democratic Right this country stands for. Members of Congress should not succumb to the pressures against the Democratic Rights of the Federal Workers and they should fight against these proposed changes. I am compelled to actively debate and campaign against anyone who does not stand for the Democratic Rights of the Federal Worker because "We Our the People" and the heart and pulse of this Nation. Sincerely,
