March 15, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: I write to express my concerns about changes to work rules in the Department of Defense (DoD). This prosal is unfair to the majority of Government employees. Too much power will be given to the supervisors. In today's system you see too much favoritism and not all supervisors judge people the same. Heaven help us with the proposed system. At least now with the step increases you were sure to get them if you were doing satisfactory work. We need the locality pay and cost of living increases just to help pay for the cost of health insurance which is getting out of site even for Government employees. There are too many uncertains to this plan. Sincerely,
