March 15, 2005 DoD NSPS Comments , DoD NSPS Comments: My name is and I am a Federal DOD worker at Tobyhanna Army Depot. I would like to share my displeasure with NSPS to you today. I would be extremely displeased if the legislature allowed NSPS to take effect because I am concerned with the security of my wages, benefits, and retirement. Under the existing system, I feel safe knowing my pay and retirement will be safe. I know my family and I can count on our benefits. I am concerned also about being treated as a deployable asset. I also dislike the fact that my Union will be weakened. I dislike the fact that my manager can determine my pay. I fear that my manager's close friends will recieve all the raises and I will be left in the dust, even though I am a better worker. In general, NSPS looks like a very poor move to all Federal DOD employees. I even entertain the possibility that NSPS is another weapon being used to privatize and contract-out all the Federal DOD jobs... I hope that you will consider my opinions. Thank you,
