How will this new pay system ensure that pay increases are truly based on performance and that discrimination and favoritism will not be play a role or be the key to raises? From what I understand this is a similar system to what was in place over 30 years ago and at that time people who were performing above the standards but who did not get along with their boss received no such pay increase due to favoritism or discrimination issues.
