If the pay bands do not take into account longevity. What happens to a step 10 GS employee when the changes come through? I guess what I'm asking is will anyone loose money as the program takes effect? Or does the employee automaticly start at the pay band that has the same pay as the previous GS and step level? I tried to find anything that answered this question in the material given, but was unable to find it. This is why I did not include a specific section.
