My concern for this program is the integrity of all Managers and Supervisor. What is the Plan to insure that all Managers, Supervisors will maintain the utmost fairness and unbiased thinking in the determiniation of who gets what pay increaseses, hired, fired etc. I think the reality is there is no way to guarantee that. By giving this kind of power to managers, supervisors we open oursleves up for this power to be abused. It will lend itself to the potential for employees to fall victim to sexual harassement and other discrimination. It has the potential to create an environment for some, that we have long tried to be senistive to, created preventative maintance for and an intolerance for over the years. Better set aside more funding to hire EEO counselors. The first time someone feels they did not get a raise that the feel they deserve and the person beside them did and maybe they did because they play golf and have beers with the right circle of people, my guess is the EEO and other individuals dealing with discriminatory acts will have more business that the rest of us. Time to stand in the pain and face up to the potential reality that will be created.
