When the race begins, we should all be at the Starting Line or at least begin with a clean slate. How can the personnel system be modernized effectively within a civilian personnel position description, in which has not had a desk audit for over a 13-year period? I, myself, am a longevity DOD {GS-05/1702-series} employee. I have always strived for perfection towards any job, that I have performed. I, in turn, have had to rely on the WGI only, for quite some time now. I feel that, for many employees, such as myself, with no advancement within there series/grade level at the Start of this NSPS proposal would not be fair to ALL DOD EMPLOYEES. As the civilian performing duties that are not described on My AF Form-1378(Mar79) along with the outdated classifications and skill codes provided for my position/GS-level, what exactly is there to evaluate? My daily Mission for my Branch is to produce the Product, accurately and percisely within certain time-frames. NSPS: Will definitely mean, that a Supervisor will have to definitely know what THERE employees job consist of and what it is Worth.
