Comments:
Fact Sheet, Questions and Answers of Proposed NSPS Regulations. Question 6. Accountability by Supervisors. I see no check and balances to eliminate special treatment to a select few in the division/department. Other words "teachers pets". I see it all the time especially when performance, time off, special act awards are involved. I believe no amount of training is going to eliminate this. Recommend a board (not attached to the command or unpartial members) be required for each command to give awards, pay increases, etc.
