Comments:
There is few things i hold as dear as our freedoms on this country. Government is what protects and serves the freedoms and liberties our founding fathers believed in and mandated in our constitution. It is unknown to me, a American citizen as well as federal employee, why the very same government who is supposed to protect us wants to strip its federal employees some of their rights and benefits. Co-workers and i agree that some points of the proposed regulations of the National Security Personnel System (NSPS), are valid and just. But it unbeknownst to us why Congress and the President want to strip us of our rights. You would not want some private company taking over federal workers and our work, only to ship the jobs overseas or around the world. My god, we are fathers and mothers with families who are looking to provide for everyone. Why would YOU ever want to destroy our livelyhood and families? I would never (at least not yet!) vote to move your elected position to another state, or strip you of your elected privileges for any reason. Please do all you can to prevent the NSPS from destroying our jobs, our work, our lives or perhaps our country. Face it, America is the greatest place on earth, please protect our basic needs.
