I am at a loss to figure out how my job/salary/benefits, etc. might be impacted by this change. Is there a chart outlining the pay bands and how you will convert from one GS level to a new pay band? Could there be a way to submit the OPM reference # for my position and see how it will "convert" under the new system? Could you include some case examples in your future publications, such as "Ms A. is a nurse practitoner with a masters degree and 29 years experience, in a overseas assignment. Presently she is a GS-12, step 16 and her salary is X. Under the new system she would be Pay band ?, etc." Just some very basic examples would be helpful in getting an idea of how this will work in practical terms. One other comment, You may want to add "APO" and "FPO" to your drop down menu of locations (states), as DoD employees overseas are in the 1st band to affected by the new system.
