Section 9901.221 Classification requirements I am a 802 series mechanical engineering technician at Norfolk Naval Shipyard working in Engineering and Planning and I have several 830 series mechnical engineers working for and with me. The technicians and engineers do the same work here and I would like to see you group the technicians and engineers in the same pay band (former GS12 & 13). This would be fair since both technicians and engineers here have the same duties and responsibilities.
