My current position is a series GS-12 802 Mechanical Engineering Techinican in the Engineering Division of Norfolk Naval Shipyard. I am group leader with other technicans and engineers under my mid level management. I would hope the NSPS program to considers the fact that there are senior technicans in positions overseeing engineers and to consider this fact when structuring the new paybands.
