First, let me say that I agree the old CS system is outdated and too inflexible in several ways. It certainly needs changes in order to effect accountability and increase performance at all levels. However, this system is opening one huge can of worms. It assumes the following. *** Our raters will actively accumulate detailed/accurate information in an organized/intelligent fashion so they can make fair/unbiased decisions based only on individual performance and not the buddy system. This will NOT happen. What's more, YOU ALL KNOW THIS!! The current system is already overrun with dishonest, self-centered, self-serving, incompetent management. How can you possibly think that empowering these same fools even further will make things better? WHAT ARE YOU THINKING?! If your goal is to be rid of CS employees, then do it for Pete's sake. Stop stabbing at us with dull spoons and give us the axe.
