Pay and Classification Right now, I am a GS 11 and my co-worker is a GS 9, we will both be in the same pay band and level. I am considered the lead. In this new system if the GS 9 gets higher pay raises and ends up making more money then me, does that mean the GS 9 is now the lead? . Will the supervisor be the only one to know how much money we are making, to know the GS 9 is now making more money? In the old system, it seems everybody knows how much each of us makes, what kind of appraisal we get, if we get a bonus or not. Should we suppose there is going to be a contract signed by each of our supervisors, and us stating we cannot divulge to anyone how much we make and what we received on our appraisal?
