The current GS personnel system in place for over 50 years is not perfect, but it's a whole lot better than what's being proposed with NSPS. Why anyone would think that there is benefit in going from a fairly objective personnel system to one that will be strictly subjective is a question for the ages. Do you honestly think that the makeup of the bonus boards will be objective; more so, do you honestly think that their decisions will be anything but subjective? Do everyone a favor. Spend the millions and millions earmarked for this charade on the troops via sustainment and maintenance of their equipment.
