I understand your intent of Pay Bands based on performance but I am concerned with all levels of Management rating of an employee with biased opinions. This would leave a potential employee, in disflavor, without the protection of lonegevity. My concern is not for myself (37 yrs) but for the countless others through the years receiving high evaluations based on cronyism rather than performance while others received low evaluations. Many times I have withness good employees receiving low marks which in turn creates low morale. Also I withness several supervisors without objective human resource training to treat and evaulate on an individual basis. My concerns are not the intent of this new system, as well as the current system, but those in management positions making evaluations. Please keep the longevity rule in place.
