I am concerned that unions have been excluded from this process. I see that there is a 30 day window for their input, but this seems to be a token gesture on DOD and OPM's part. NSPS would gut workers rights and eliminate collective bargaining, negotiating, and grievance procedures. The effect is union busting. Asking for inputs such as with this comment form is a sham that everyone can see through. The town hall meetings held prior to this point were a sham also. DoD and OPM need to listen to all input and make changes to this system if they expect it work. There must be worker buy in, which means that union input must be taken seriously and acted upon. This cannot be a unilateral process.
