Fact Sheet, pg 8 question regarding locality pay under the NSPS pay system. Concerns me greatly. Why would the geographical/locality pay differ because of one occupation or another? For example my locality pay at Edwards is 21.65% yet if I am not an engineer I may not receive that full amount? In the most simplistic terms how is that fair and equitable? I have to adhere to the high price tag on houses, gas, etc as anyone else, yet because I may not be in the right occupation I may not receive as much? Makes no sense, everyone in the same locality should receive the same percentange. Should not be based on occupation. UNFAIR!
