Ref: Staffing & Employment, Subpart E, pages 7786-7788, Sections 9901.501 thru 9901.516. Currently all the military departments have different procedures and applications for hiring. Paperwork-wise, applying for a job in the Dept. of the Army is different than applying for a job in the Depts. of the Air Force or Navy. Why? My comment/suggestion is to get one automated system for all of DOD. This would make the system more user friendly and speed the hiring process, which I believe is one of your aims.
